Have you secretly laughed at your grandma for knowing how to knit, but now you think it’s cool. Kniterate if you don’t know how to knit.
Can we all take a moment and appreciate what our grandmas did a few decades ago. I mean for sure in some of their homes can be found rich and hard-to-do pieces of art. When I look at my grandma’s works, I think of her as Picasso.
I never learned how to knit, simply because I thought of that as a complex process that takes too much time. Plus, none of the “cool kids” knew how to do it, so I looked at it as something shameful. Well, I couldn’t have been more wrong about that. Kniterate has made me realize how much I love the knitted stuff and especially sweaters.
Kniterate – Create Your Unique Style
Kniterate is an automated knitting machine which delivers quality works in no-time. If you have your own clothing workshop for sure you know how hard customer’s demands can be.
When everyone wants to wear unique and custom-made clothes, that’s when Kniterate steps up. In fact, the reason why Gerard Rubio, Tom Catling and Triambak Saxena have made this machine which was initially inspired by 3D printing.
Now, Kniterate allows the creativity to flow and you don’t have to wait for months before you knit your first sweater, shirt or dress. The machine operates with user-friendly software and takes the action. It makes new things from scratch and allows users to add their custom-made designs. Afterwards, you place your 6 colored sewing- kit.
How So Tiny Machine Can Make New Clothes?
As 3D printers can make detailed surgical equipment and a lot more, the whole idea with Kniterate is to be able to make your own clothes according to the style you have. This is in order to make knitting fun and hands-free.
The machine has different computer-controlled needles which are developed carefully and work through a software application program. Even if you don’t have any previous experience with printing or knitting through software it is easy to learn.
Keep in mind though that this knitting machine will not be cheap. It will cost approximately around $4,700 and orders will begin in April 2018.
